Unprovenienced "Mora Polychrome (Guabal variety)" type aerophone housed at the Art & History Museum (AHM), Brussels, since 1947. It was manufactured in the Guanacaste Province, Nicoya Peninsula (Costa Rica), during the Sapoá Period (AD 800-1250). This flute was formerly part of the Germaine Wenziner private collection. Archaeological region & sub-region: Greater Nicoya, Guanacaste-Nicoya.
Overall dimensions (depth x width x height): 9,87 x 8,42 x 5,02 (cm).
The airduct and right hind leg are partially broken (see picture by clicking on the track name).
